“Justice for All” is a fundamental concept in our American democracy. Yet, "Justice for Some" is what we get when there isn’t meaningful access to the courts for low-income Massachusetts residents facing serious civil legal problems.
The Equal Justice Coalition’s mission is to move closer to "Justice for All" by advocating for increased state funding for the civil (non-criminal) legal aid programs that provide advice and representation to low-income individuals and families throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
